Suzune has a bit of an entourage now, given that we’ve learned she has a fiancé. It all seems ridiculous, but hey, this is a manga about parasites that make you crave sex. This volume doesn’t have all the world building to do, so we jump straight into the beef of the story, especially what’s going on with Suzune.
We learned that she has the first inside of her and it seems to be driving her crazy with lust, but her desire to stay a virgin is stronger and she acts on these desires herself. More and more, she’s been masturbating and the people in her office are noticing. One of them points out how much she’s washing her hands. What a dirty man he is.
All the while, an evil idol group is trying to sell sex tapes of idols to really cash in on the big bucks. I assume their songwriting chops aren’t up to snuff, otherwise they’d be doing that. Those idol singles sell like hotcakes!
This all culminates to Suzune getting to the wrong place at the wrong time and the combination of the parasite inside of her and the smell the other woman is giving off sets her off and she’s left essentially helpless to her own desires. The idol’s manager comes in and, already expecting Suzune to be interested in becoming an idol, takes advantage of her…almost. The badass woman with the whip comes in and seemingly saves the day. But of course they all want their fun.
In Summary:
Suzune is probably the weirdest comic I’ve read in the history of ever, because not only is it about parasites that make you want to have sex, it’s also a hentai. But it’s also playing at our primal desires. There’s likely a reason these parasites make us want to have sex beyond that it can easily titillate its readers. Inherent in us is a desire to plant our seed into the world, as it were, and these parasites allow that without guilt. You even forget a lot of what happened when under their influence. The plot is largely forgettable, but at least there are a few things to think about in this manga.
